Womb & Belly Unwinding
For the woman whose belly has been holding more than it should. Bloating, cramping, disconnection, stagnation.
Your belly is meant to be soft. Your womb is meant to move freely. This work helps you unwind your way back to both.
The Belly Is More Than Digestion
It is the living center of the body—where our organs work and rest, where breath deepens, and where the womb communicates with the entire system.
This work is for all stages of life—
from menarche, through the childbearing years, into menopause and beyond. For the maiden, the mother, the maga, and the crone.
The belly and womb remain deeply responsive, intelligent, and capable of change.
Many women have never been taught how
to be in relationship with this part of their body.
This work begins in the tissues.
The abdomen and womb are not separate from the rest of the body.
They are deeply connected to your breath, your nervous system, your organs, and your pelvic bowl.
Over time, tension can build here. From stress, holding patterns, surgeries, pregnancy, and emotional experiences that were never fully processed. This tension doesn’t just stay local. It can affect how your organs move, how blood circulates, how lymph drains, and how your nervous system responds.
The womb is meant to have subtle mobility. To move with your breath, to shift with your cycle, to remain responsive within the body. When that movement is restricted, we begin to see patterns like pain, pressure, irregular cycles, digestive disruption, or a sense of disconnection
from this part of the body.
I weave the threads of restriction held within the body, guiding them back into alignment—supporting the return of natural movement and flow, so the tissues can soften, circulation can restore, and the womb can breathe… and speak once more.
Are you listening?
This work gently supports the restoration of that movement. Through slow, hands-on abdominal and womb work we begin to soften restriction, support circulation, encourage the natural motility of your organs, and create space in a belly that has been holding far too long — whether that shows up as digestive disruption, painful cycles, or simply a body that feels dense and disconnected.
There is no forcing here. Only a slow return to relationship, where the body is given the conditions it needs to reorganize, regulate, and heal.
This work is for you if…
You live with bloating, digestive discomfort, constipation, or a belly that never feels settled — and nobody has given you a real answer.
Your periods are painful, irregular, heavy, or just feel off in a way you can't fully explain.
You've been told you have a tilted uterus, fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, or adenomyosis and want support that works with your body rather than around it.
You experience a feeling of heaviness, pressure, or a sense that something isn't fully supported in your pelvis or bladder.
You carry tension in your belly from stress, surgery, or pregnancy that never fully resolved.
You carry tension, trauma, or holding patterns within your body that have not yet been fully processed.
You feel disconnected from your womb and belly — like this part of your body is something you manage rather than something you inhabit.
You've been dismissed or told your symptoms are normal, and you're ready for someone who will actually listen.

Your Session In The Womb Room
Your session takes place in a space I lovingly call the Womb Room.
Here, your session is gentle, grounded, and deeply attuned to your body and what is alive for you in that moment.
You’re invited to arrive exactly as you are. There is nothing to figure out or get right beforehand.
Connection and clarity begin with conversation. We allow space for you to settle in and share what is present in your body, revisit anything from your intake form, and name what you’re needing support with.
From there, we move to the table. You will be draped with sheets and blankets throughout — no clothing is required. If you prefer, you may wear underwear and a loose bralette (no underwire). I will guide you throughout so you always know what is happening and why. Consent is ongoing, and your comfort leads the way at every step.
With permission, my hands greet your heart and womb space, allowing your body to orient to my touch. We weave in breath and grounding to soothe your nervous system and invite your body to soften into the table and arrive more fully in the space.
The session then unfolds through slow, hands-on work focused on the belly and abdominal area — working with the tissues, the breath, and the natural rhythms of your body. We may work on fascial tension, areas of restriction or adhesions, and support the natural positioning and mobility of the womb and surrounding organs. Nothing is forced, and nothing is rushed. Everything is guided by consent, with you setting the pace at all times and having the space to pause, adjust, or shift whenever needed.
This is not structured or protocol-based work. We follow your body. We move at the pace of the slowest, most protective part of you, allowing space for your tissues to soften in their own timing, without force or urgency. Your body leads the session. Through active listening, non-agenda touch, and presence, we follow the intelligence of your tissues, working at a depth and pace that supports your nervous system and allows it to feel safe enough to unwind.
What Unfolds In The Womb Room
Your whole body sighs. You feel safe. Lighter. Supported. Held.
Many women have never been met or held in this way — not with this depth of presence and care.
So much of what you've experienced within your body, your cycle, your womb has been rushed, dismissed, medicated, or treated as something to fix.
In the Womb Room, nothing is rushed. Your body is not a problem to fix or solve. It is something to be honored.
There is space for you to soften, to tune into how your body feels when met with safety, and to find that steadiness within yourself.
You may notice your breath deepen. Your body soften in places that have long been guarded. A feeling of coming back into relationship with yourself.
There can be moments of emotion, or stillness, or simply a deep sense of rest.
There is no right way for this to unfold.
Only your body, in its own timing, revealing what it is ready to release, to feel, and to remember.
And within that... many women experience something they have not felt before:
Being met with reverence. Being supported without expectation. Being held in a way that honors the fullness of their experience
“I am not here to fix you. I am here to gently remind your body of the innate wisdom it already holds.”
Working Together
Your first session is where we begin building relationship—with your body, your story, and what’s asking to be supported.
This is a fully external session, focused on the abdomen, womb space, and surrounding tissues, allowing your body to gently unwind and restore.
There is no internal work in these sessions.
We move slowly, with your body leading the way.
1.5–2 hours | $200
3 Sessions | $525
For women who feel ready to go deeper, working together over time allows your body to open gradually—layer by layer—supporting lasting change, deeper connection, and a more integrated return to yourself.
30 min Yoni Steam Add-on | +$75
if you want to begin your session with a little more warmth and preparation, a yoni steam can be included at the start of your time together using handcrafted herbal blends tailored to your body.
This gentle practice supports circulation and tissue softening, allowing the body to be more receptive to both external and internal pelvic work as we move into the session.
The Woman Behind This Work
-

Tamara Doering
Integrative Pelvic Health & Somatic Sexuality
I came to this work the long way — through my own body, my own births, my own unraveling and return.
I support women through hands-on pelvic, womb, and abdominal bodywork — blending fascia work, nervous system support, and deep listening to help your body release tension, restore function, and reconnect to sensation, pleasure, and your sensual self.
This work is slow, attuned, and led by your body. Never rushed. Never forced.

Please arrive freshly showered and avoid lotions, oils, or perfumes on the body. You may choose to wear underwear and a loose bralette if that feels more comfortable, though it is not required.
Come with a willingness to listen to your body and allow it to guide the session.

No.
This session is fully external. We work with the belly, womb space, surrounding organs and tissues, rib cage, and fascia through myofascial techniques, including work along the deep front line. Intra-oral (orofascial) release may also be included.
If you're ready for internal pelvic work, this is something we can explore within my Integrative Pelvic Care sessions.

Every body, belly, womb, vulva, and vagina is gloriously unique — so the number of sessions you'll need depends on your history, your sensitivity, and what you're hoping to shift or explore.
In general, a series of 3–6 sessions allows us the time to build safety and trust, and to work layer by layer, supporting deeper, more lasting changes in the body.
That said, many women experience meaningful shifts even after a single session. If you're looking for a reset, a reconnection, or a first step into this work, one session can still be deeply supportive.Every body, belly, womb, vulva, and vagina is gloriously unique — so the number of sessions you'll need depends on your history, your sensitivity, and what you're hoping to shift or explore.

During the first trimester, I recommend waiting. This is a sacred time for rest — your body is doing so much in these early weeks and deserves to be gently nourished rather than worked deeply.
From 14 weeks onward, this work can be deeply supportive throughout pregnancy, helping your body stay balanced and prepare for birth.
After birth, care can begin right away following a vaginal delivery. If you've had a cesarean birth, I recommend waiting 10–12 weeks to allow your body the time it needs to heal.

Yes, with one important consideration.
This work supports the natural positioning and mobility of the uterus — and because of this, we avoid working directly with the womb when an IUD is in place, as it may shift the placement and affect its effectiveness.
However the rest of your session remains deeply valuable. Your surrounding organs, abdominal tissues, adhesions, fascia, and digestive system will all still greatly benefit from this work. Chi Nei Tsang works with the full abdominal landscape, and there is plenty we can do to support your body without engaging the uterus directly.
Please let me know at booking that you have an IUD so I can plan your session accordingly.

Yes, she can.
Working with teens is a gentle and empowering way to support their developing bodies and their womb cycles. This work can help with cycle regulation, easing painful or heavy periods, supporting digestion, and fostering a more connected and informed relationship with their pelvic health.
These sessions are fully external with no internal work, and are typically shorter — around 90 minutes — as younger bodies tend to hold less adhesion and scar tissue.
Teen sessions are offered to young women aged 13–17 at a discounted rate. A parent or guardian is required to be present for the first session and to sign a consent form. After that, it is up to the teen whether they would like a parent present for future visits.

You are welcome here.
This is deeply trauma-informed work. We move slowly, and we only ever go as deep as you and your body allow. Nothing is pushed, nothing is forced, and there is no agenda other than following what feels safe and supportive for you in that moment.
If something comes up during a session — tears, fear, anger, emotion of any kind — we take the time to honor and integrate it. This is not something to push through. It is part of the process. Our tissues hold memories and stories, and it is completely normal for things to surface when the body finally feels safe enough to release them.
At any point you can ask me to stop, to be still, or to remove my hands entirely. If you find yourself unable to speak in that moment, know that I am actively watching for signs of dissociation throughout our time together. I will never push past what your nervous system is ready for.
You do not need to have it all figured out before you come. You just need to be willing to show up.
-
Yes — you can absolutely receive this work during your cycle.
This can actually be a deeply nourishing and honoring time to receive bodywork. Your body is already moving through a natural process of release, and gentle intentional work can help support circulation, ease tension, and create a greater sense of connection to your womb and body.
I always honor your comfort level and adjust the session as needed so you feel fully at ease throughout.
Please note that yoni steaming is not recommended during active menstruation and is unavailable as an add-on at this time.

Regular physiotherapy works with muscles, joints, and movement patterns. Pelvic floor physiotherapy adds the muscles of the pelvic floor — assessing tone, coordination, and strength, sometimes with internal trigger point release. Both are valuable. Neither works with your organs.
This work does.
Through Chi Nei Tsang and myofascial techniques we work directly with the organs themselves — supporting motility, flushing congestion in the liver and gallbladder, addressing the ileocecal valve, encouraging healthy movement through the digestive system, and freeing the fascial adhesions that form between organs over time. We work with the full abdominal landscape as a living, breathing, interconnected system — the organs, the fascia between them, the lymphatic system, the uterus, and the tissues that connect everything together.
This is not a scope of practice you will find in a standard physiotherapy clinic. It is a fundamentally different body of knowledge working on fundamentally different structures.
No cold gel, no exercise handout, no 40-minute clock. Just slow, intentional work with the body you actually live in.
And practically speaking — a physiotherapy session in Calgary typically runs $100–$145 for 45–60 minutes. A session with me is $200 for up to 2 full hours — and the scope of what we cover in that time goes significantly beyond what physiotherapy is trained or equipped to address.
If you've seen a physio and still feel like something is missing — this may be what your body has been asking for.

Give yourself space after your session. This work goes deep, and your body will continue integrating long after you leave the Womb Room.
In the hours and days that follow, you may notice shifts — physically, emotionally, or energetically. Sensations, emotions, or even memories can surface as your tissues begin to unwind and release. This is completely normal and part of the healing process. It is not something going wrong. It is something moving.
A few ways to support yourself in the days that follow:
Drink plenty of water to support lymphatic flow and help your body continue processing the work. Give yourself permission to rest and slow down — a warm bath, a heat pack on your belly, or a castor oil pack can feel deeply nourishing. If thoughts, sensations, or emotions arise, consider writing them down. Journaling can help you process and make meaning of what your body is moving through.
If anything comes up that you want to share, process, or ask about, please reach out. You don't need to navigate your integration alone. I send a personal check-in within 24 hours of every session, and I am always here.
Healing is not just what happens on the table. It is everything that unfolds after you leave.
Your body carries a story.
It also carries the innate wisdom to heal.
This is a deeply personal space, and it matters that you feel safe in who you’re choosing to support you.
If you feel ready to listen to the wisdom of your body, to soften, and to return home to yourself, I am here to walk this path alongside you.
